“Pistons are out?! What happened?!”

It seems like LeBron James is trying to be the next Jordan. From winning game 5 of the semi-finals “single-handedly” and then taking his team to the NBA finals for the first time, King James has shown he has what it takes to win whether his supporting cast can or not. I witnessed the amazing end to game 5 of the semi-finals and the shots LeBron was putting up were not shy of spectacular. Even the commentators knew that his performance would be one for the record books even if it didn’t break any records.

Sadly though, the team I wanted to win another championship lost in game 6 in Cleveland. Now the team I didn’t want to win, the Spurs, have a decent chance to win unless Cleveland can show they are San Antonio’s kryptonite in both the regular and post-season. We’ll see how it plays out with game 1 of the finals beginning on Thursday, but as of now I’m hoping LeBron embarrasses the Spurs and shows he deserves the money he was given before he started his NBA career (a shoe deal never hurts).

In other sports news, the Ottawa Senators are down two games to one against Anaheim, and for the sake of opposition of tlc, I’ll be cheering for the Sens. I’m not the biggest hockey fan, but I do watch it occasionally. I may not know all the players, or the hot teams, but at least I know the rules to enjoy a game every now and then. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get into football despite knowing the rules. I see it as more of a business event, than a sporting event. Flame me if you must, but please leave it in the comments.
